Great street scene. People milling about. Horse and carriage going down left side of road.
 
Electric trolley car #60 coming down the track. Tied to the front of it a sign ‘AURORA CHAUTAUQUA JULY 4 to 9’. (Aurora Indiana) Chautauqua was an adult education movement in the United States, highly popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
 
At left. ‘John Arata’ store with ‘Fruits and Vegetables’ sign.
 
Across the street, on the right, couple of horse drawn carriages tied up outside stores. Some well dressed ladies in hats talking. Store with sign ‘West Side Drug Store’ Small shack with 'ICE CREAM' on side.
 
Text on back (poor french!)  "(Rue scene en villie) Chas. B. Fisher Okeana Ohio U.S.A.". Text in brackets translates to "Street scene in town".
 
Missing part of LR corner. Toning around edges on back. Card is 'curved'.

Harrison is a city in Hamilton County, Ohio, United States. The city is located in the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky metropolitan area.

The first train came to Harrison Township in 1864. In 1882 Harrison Depot was built at West Broadway and Railroad Avenue. It later burned to the ground.

Population 1910-1930 around 1,300.
